School feeding and other services we provide make the child grow well physically and mentally, helping children to take what they learn quickly. Pre-primary education is instrumental for children to succeed i...Mehr lesenn primary and secondary school, giving them foundational knowledge and language skills. Yet it is largely inaccessible to families in Rwanda. Almost all schools are private or international and charge very high fees. They are very difficult for rural families to afford and access, as most are concentrated in the capital city of Kigali.
This project will support local community initiatives to raise awareness about the importance of children's education, and enable affordable opportunities for pre-primary schooling.
Long-Term Impact
This initiative aim to change the cultural mindsets of parents and local authorities who do not recognize the importance of pre-primary education. It is also increase collaboration between local authorities and communities, around the importance of early childhood education. With access to early education, children will be better equipped with skills that will prepare and ensure them success in later schooling and careers.

As usual they get Kindergarten education for free of charge and two daily meals. Breakfast and lunch in the fight against malnutrition. The girl you see in picture is MUKAMPARIBATENDA Josiane, who started getting help from NY...Mehr lesenO since 2015. She had dropped out of school due to poverty and family problems. At the time, he had two parents, a poor family, and his mother has colonic mental illness. Her father, who was also trying to care of them passed away (died) after being left behind by her mother, who was unable to raise her because of the mental illness. It was a difficult life. @nufashwayafasha , we have continued to support them. We kept supporting Josiane and his brother. Currently, she is studying for Sinior 4 years in Accounting at Lycee De Muhura. She is a girl of good character and strives to develop her and the country as a whole.

Their football talents are wasted, due to a lack of basic equipment such as playing balls, clothes, shoes, coaches and having a good vision.
It is in this context that in 2018 NYO we set up a boys' soccer team, which is the largest number of boys playing in Rwanda. Soon we want to set up a girls team. We now have about 80 children assisting in the program.
In our community there is no child playing on the street. It is a program we have set up for children to play after the school program. This also helps them learn better, not loneliness and enhance their talent.

The Day of the African child (DAC) is commemorated every year on 16th June by all member states of African Union (AU), and its corresponding partners. The continent-wide holiday commemorates the spirit of the South African children who sparked the Soweto uprising of 1976 many of whom gave their lives. On the other hand, DAC further presents an opportunity to reflect on the lived realities of children in Africa.
In Rwanda DAC commemoration provides an occasion for relevant government institutions, international institutions and NGOs to renew their on-going commitments of raising awareness on issues affecting children in general and particularly vulnerable children. Every year the AU proposes a theme that all member states draw on in preparing and planning the event, and this 2021 year’s proposed theme states that: “Eliminating Harmful Social and Cultural practices affecting children: our collective responsibility”.

NUFASHWA YAFASHA ORGANIZATION (NYO) wa...Mehr lesens founded in 2014 as a local grassroots organization aiming to improve living standards for underprivileged children and their families in Rwanda.
We have got partners (western Flanders province, Umubano and SpendeDirekt) build a modern school for us, so that the number of children studying in our school will increase. We had 60 children and now they are doubling them. We usually feed children from disadvantaged backgrounds at school and respect the quality of education.
Due to our budgetary allocation was insufficient. It is in this respect that we have seen the need to request donations for school feeding. We have decided to organize a food donation drive for our school. We understand that our students cannot concentrate on their studies on empty stomachs.
We, therefore, request for food donations to cater for the deficit. You can either submit dry foodstuff or monetary support.
We promise that all the donations will be used for the stated purpose. Transparency is one of our strong pillars, and in this regard, our food store will be open to donors to see the foods donated and how they are utilized from time to time. Our doors are open for any suggestions or queries.

Nufashwa yafasha Organization supports families by providing them with a goat to help them earn mone...Mehr leseny. The goat gives them meat and milk and its manure is used as fertilizer for their crops. The families can breed the goats to sell in the market, so providing economic benefits and enabling them to earn an income.
As the family earns more money, they are able to afford medical treatment and educate their children. This in turn, improves the literacy rate among the community.
So far, over 100 families have benefited from this project. They have seen their crop production increase and have been able to earn some money to pay for everything from school uniforms and materials to medicine.

This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) sets the terms between SpendeDirekt and NYO to establish and maintain a partnership to support NYO in their projects. This agreement is meant to create a common understanding between the two parties, and outline what each party offers, as well as each party’s responsibilities.
The parties shall resolve disputes arising from the interpretation or implementation of the provisions of this Memorandum by way of consultation and negotiation. The Parties by mutual consent may make amendments and additions to this MoU, which are formalized as a separate protocol forming an integral part of this MoU.
