1) Fertigstellen der Wand und des Eingangstors. Dies ist wichtig für die Sicherheit der jugendlichen und der Familien, welche sich bei uns aufhalten
2) Bau von Stützen für das Dach. Das Dach unserer Küche muss gefestigt werden. Insbesondere für die kommende Regenzeit. Unter dem Dach finden die meisten unserer Aktivitäten statt

- Zielgruppe des Projekts sind randständige Bevölkerungsgruppen, insbesondere Frauen.

Beweggrund des Projektes
- In Kambodscha gibt es breite Bevölkerungsschichten, die keinen Zugang zu sekundärer Bildung haben. Bildung in Kunst ist nicht vorhanden. Mit dem Projekt versucht KAMA diesen Bevölkerungsschichten den Zugang zu Bildung zu ermöglichen; mit dem Ziel, den Menschen zu helfen, diese Fähigkeiten aufzubauen, die sie später dazu befähigt, auf eigenen Beinen zu stehen.

This is where our young...Mehr lesen students were kindly given a great breakfast thanks to the generosity of Tevy and her team. They also got to hear about Tevy's inspirational story and to understand why this is such a loved place in Siem Reap.

The Xmas Spirit and secret gift giving at Fish Island Community Arts Centre. With thanks to the ini...Mehr lesentiative of Currie Sun Min Lee and her generous friends, we have been able to hold a magic Xmas Day here at FICAC. Currie and her cute chihuahua's delivered approximately 200 gifts for distribution to our students and disadvantaged families in the villages surrounding our community arts centre. Many of the gifts include very useful school materials as well as art supplies and will be put to great use by our young artists. It was really fun day! and as always, lots of delicious food prepped by chef Kek Soon and her team. Next well be working on a series of cooking videos to share in more details the great local cuisine here at FICAC but the good news is we're also open to Table of 8 bookings/and catering for events.

We are a small community arts centre but our team is a dedicated group of our junior chefs and volunteers. We work hard to make sure our food is packaged plastic-free, is nutritious and delicious and is delivered in person to the neediest and most vulnerable in our community - this includes frontline health workers, clinics, police stations, prisons, and our local fishing and farming villages. Our young team learn about protecting health, environmental sustainability, kitchen and cuisine, and most of all, sharing and caring at this difficult time. We thank all our supporters, for making our community food program possible.
